Born to a Fashion Designer mother and Great niece of the 1930s photographer Rosalind Maingot, Sarah fell in love with photography at a young age developing a passion for printing, in particular.
By 18 she was assisting the likes of David Bailey and Norman Parkinson and continued to assist for three years. 'Diverted' by a 10 year stint at modelling, where she "learned a lot", she returned to photography in 1995.
London based, she established herself in Europe before heading off to live in New York for four years, returning to London in 2004. Now in London, she loves nothing more than sneaking off to her cottage in the Cotswolds for a spot of gardening and jam-making, accompanied by her spaniel Tilly.
